Montenegro-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Friendship Group established

A Friendship Group on interparliamentary ties with Azerbaijan has been founded in the Parliament of Montenegro.

According to Azerbaijani Representative Office in Montenegro, vice-president of the Social Democratic Party of Montenegro and deputy speaker of the Parliament Rifat Rastoder was appointed chairman of the Friendship Group.

The friendship group includes 14 deputies representing all political parties of the parliament.

Rifat Rastoder addressed a letter on occasion of the friendship group establishment to Azerbaijani ambassador Eldar Hasanov.

He noted in the letter that Montenegro is interesting in cooperation with Azerbaijan and expressed his assurance on contribution of the friendship group for boosting of the relations between the two counties.
